As far as I'm concerned, the Winter Solstice, December 22, is Bikers' New Year's Day. That is when we begin to reclaim daylight and warmth from the dark and cold.

So far, I'm doing ok on my new year. I've been getting in some good, fun, moderate intensity rides, eating decent, and living right.

Christmas Eve was a nice example.

50 degrees in the afternoon, sweet.

And a fun roll over a familiar and favorite loop.
